Tea and Ikebana

Students of Ichiyo School Ikebana Master Teacher Mary Burnett de Gomez presented an exhibition of various forms of Ikebana Sunday April 28, 2002 in the garden of her home. This was a "hands on" learning experience in how to set up for an exhibition outside using an actual garden as a backdrop. It was also an excuse for the students to get together and celebrate Spring and enjoy a beautiful Sunday afternoon and a tour of Mary's New Mexico style Japanese Garden. Student's experience in arranging varied from beginners with only a few lessons to advanced students having taken classes for several years.
