Ichiyo Primary (Beginner) Group Classes are held at the Shop at 1:30 pm on Saturdays. The Primary Course teaches the Four Basic Forms in both Moribana and Nageire style in 20 classes. The fee for the first five Primary Course classes is $165.00 which includes a Japanese moribana (low) container and kenzan (needlepoint flower holder), and flowers. Each group class afterward is $22.00 including flowers. Students who successfully complete each course may apply through Sensei (teacher) to the Ichiyo School for a Certificate signed by the Iemoto (Headmaster) for an additional fee. Reservations are required. Private ikebana classes are available by appointment. Students receive merchandise discounts.
